Senior Pastor Tony Wofford is the founding pastor and driving force behind the The Word Is Life Deliverance Church. About 35 years ago God gave him the vision for a place where people of all cultures, financial status, and social strata could come together with Jesus in common and grow in Faith. The vision given him has bore fruit and our fellowship is a place where anyone can come and be loved by the people of God, no matter what their past has been. Pastor Tony preaches a strong faith message and encourages the body to be all they can be in Christ Jesus. He retired from Amaco Pipeline after over 30 years of employment. Pastor Tony also recently believed that the Holy Spirit was leading him to serve the community of Snyder. He ran for Mayor, won, and now serves in that unpaid position representing the people of Snyder. Sister Kathy Wofford has been Pastor Tony's soulmate and helpmate for over 40 years and loves the Lord with all her heart. She is also a successful  business woman operating Mrs. Kathy's Southern Comforts retaurant on College Ave. and Mrs. Kathy's Apple of My Pie on the East side of the Square in downtown Snyder. God has richly blessed the Woffords with a beautiful family and they are an example of love and encouragement to all who know them.

Associate Pastor Mike Brown has been a member of the WILD  Church  for 21 years and has served as an Elder and Associte Pastor since 2001. Pastor Mike has been in the pastoral ministry for over 40 years and has served the Lord as a Youth Minister, Pastor, and Evangelist. Pastor Mike serves in his capacity as helper and armor bearer for Senior Pastor Tony Wofford. Pastor Mike is involved in overshight of key teaching ministries in the church with an emphasis on discipleship and evangelism. Paator Mike teaches practical spiritual principles that give people a spiritual foundation for livng a victorious life. Pastor Mike is also the worship team coordinator. He is a retired captain from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Sister George Anne is an accomplished pianist and vocalist. She is one of the worship leaders at the WILD Church. She is retired from T & T Transports in Colorado City as General Manager where she worked for over 31 years. Pastor Mike and George Anne have been married for 45 years and have been involved in the commmunity of faith in Scurry County for 38 years. They have been blessed with a large family and many of them are serving God in local churches where they live.

Ramon and Buffie Herrera serve the Lord and the fellowshiip of the WILD Church as Outreach Directors. They have the responsibility of providing contact to those who visit our church, provide followup and assist new church members and new believers to help them follow in baptism and complete the Members Orientation Class, and schedule outreach fellowships. Ramon and Buffie have been part of the WILD Church for 7 years and are graduates of the Pathway to Ordination Ministry. They are a powerful couple who love Jesus Christ and they have an awesome testimony of what God can do with a yielded life. Ramon is a SCADA controller at Kinder Morgan and Buffie is a self-employed stay at home mom. They have a beautiful family of kids and grandkids who are also following the Lord. They both are motorcyle enthusiasts and present Christ to that group of people with a powerful message of salvation and hope.

Administrative Assistant, Davina Douglass is truly a blessing to everyone who is part of the WILD Church. Davina has offce hours from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and keeps the different ministries of the church on track with her organizational skills . She also teaches this Bible Studay that currently meets every other Monday at the church at 9 a.m. Davina and her daughter Caitlyn have been a part of the WILD Church for over 16 years and has been the Adminsitrative Assistant at the WILD Church the past 3 years. She has a real desire to help people reach their full potential in Christ Jesus and is always ready to assist our fellowship in any way possible.
